Fourth Of July

We are so excited for this year's fireworks display! Delta Fire Volunteers have put in many hours collecting donations, carefully mapping out the fireworks, and planning fun activities to make this year's event the best one yet. Together, Delta Fire and the City of Delta are planning a variety of events and activities for July 4th, including, of course, the fireworks display. There are several safety measures that go along with the excitement of the fireworks. To keep everyone safe there must be a safety barrier between you and the fireworks. The firework shells and equipment arrive on scene early in the morning, and from that moment on, Delta Fire takes every precaution necessary to keep everyone safe. Unfortunately, it has historically proven unsuccessful to deter some people from crossing the safety barrier while on the lake, therefore the decision has been made to have a full lake closure on July 4th.  We understand that closing the lake eliminates opportunities for water recreation, but safety is our number one priority and responsibility, not only for you, the viewers, but for the firemen as well. Our Volunteer Firemen love to put in the work to provide you the best show possible, so we hope you understand and support our efforts to ensure everyone’s safety and come enjoy all the other festivities available.

Delta Fire is excited to put on a fantastic show for you and your family.
